About

About Code 3 Concepts LLC

Use of force training for Illinois police officers.

Our mission

Code 3 Concepts LLC understands the changing law enforcement environment in Illinois. The SAFE-T Act was a major shift in the way law enforcement operates in Illinois. We want police officers to feel confident that they are doing their jobs legally, to protect themselves and the public.

Our training

Our signature course, "Use of Force Under the SAFE-T Act," has been certified by ILETSB since June 2025. The course grew out of a presentation to a regional crowd control team that showed a demand for more training of this type. If your department would like a custom course, contact us and we can develop it with you.

Our approach

We want police officers to understand the law and the limits, responsibilities, and protections that apply to them. Many officers misunderstand the concept of liability. Tactical errors are avoidable by first understanding an officer's legal responsibility and then deciding on a course of action.
